Membership
Membership of the Probus Club of Godalming is open to professional and business men aged 60 or over, resident in Godalming district who have fully or partially retired. These restrictions may be waived at the discretion of the Committee.
Prospective new members are normally introduced at a Club lunch by an existing member on a minimum of three occasions before their application for membership is considered by the Committee.

As a club, we rely on members to help run lunches and other activities for the benefit of all. Members are expected to carry out duties at lunch meetings as detailed in the roster of duties, published from time to time. Members may also be invited to join the committee which manages club business or to assist in organizing an event. Participation is important if the club is to continue to thrive.
Whilst we are a male-only club, wives and female guests are welcomed on our outings and other organised events. The annual subscription (2023-24) is currently £20 and the cost of the monthly lunch is £29.
