The next Lunch Meeting is on
Friday 27th May
The speaker will be Richard Marks who will give a talk entitled "Chocks away". When the First World War began, many viewed the aeroplane as an interesting toy. By the end of the conflict, it had become a key asset. This talk tells how the Royal Flying Corps went from a humble collection of simple aircraft to game-changing force operating wherever the British Army could be found.
The menu will be
Melon & Parma ham, finished with rocket and a balsamic glaze
Chicken wrapped in smoked bacon, with a creamy white sauce and mushroom sautéed potatoes
Charred lemon tart
Thanks for lunch
Mike Evans, Peter Voisey
